About Mark
I am lucky to be living in Cornwall with Andrea and able to be artistic and technical with the puppets. Before Spiderwitch I was a chef working in London, and Sussex. I worked my way up to a Michelin standard but had always felt this was not correct path for me. Since a child I had always wanted to work in Special effects for TV/Film and grew up loving programs such as The Storyteller, Star Trek and Fraggle Rock.
For a number of years, I was unable to work due to prolapsed discs in my lumbar spine and using this time I started to develop my puppets. After meeting Andrea and a lucky operation on my spine the puppets had reached a level that we were happy to sell and we both decided to make spiderwitch what it is today.
I love what we can achieve today but always look forward to what can be achieved tomorrow.
About
Spiderwitch was first created by Sarah Fencott to sell her Artwork after passing her master's in fine art. SpiderWitch was named after the Goddess Arachne and after Sarah's unfortunate passing we have kept this theme to honour her memory. Susan Fencott and I started selling our little creations at faerie and pagan festivals and the interest for our work started to grow. The puppets came along as I wanted to animate our static trolls and I enjoyed it so much it never stopped.
The puppets are continually evolving, always looking forward to a new challenge, learning new skills taking them to the next level.
Spiderwitch has grown from a shed hobby to respected business and we look forward to seeing where we can go next.

About Sparkle
I am an artist who lives and works in Cornwall. My distinctive personal style is a glimpse into the magical realms of the imagination. Inspired by my love of the fae, nature and all things magical.
My background is fashion. I worked for many years in London as a garment technologist and a tailoring apprentice on Savile Row.
I have been running Mooch with the Fairies for over 10 years face painting/body painting and children's craft activities travelling to events, festivals and shows.
Working with children and big kids alike has been extremely rewarding and magical.
Since meeting Mark in 2017 we have together turned Spiderwitch from a hobby into a business.
